Step 1: Begin the Floppy Bow by forming an 8” loop. Hold the center tightly, but allow one strand of the loop to hang free. You will need this loose piece later to tie the center point of the bow. At this point, you should have two loose ends of ribbon: the short piece that you will use later and the longer piece that you will use to continue making the bow. |

Step 2: While holding the center of the loop, continue forming new loops by wrapping the ribbon back and forth and holding on to the midpoint of each new loop. Do this until your bow is as full as desired. Let the final strand of ribbon hang free. This piece is also needed to tie the center point of the bow.

Step 3: Take the longer of the two loose strands and wrap it around the midpoint of the loops two times. Tie a knot in the back of the loop with the wrapped strand and the remaining loose strand. |

Step 4: Finish your Floppy Bow by fluffing out the loops to your desired shape. |

Step 4: With the loops secure, make a small angled cut on the top right corner of one side of the loops, cutting toward the loop end. Cut through only the top half of the loops in the bundle. Do not cut all the way through. There should now be sharp pointed ends sticking out of the bundle. |
